After a sad 2 year hiatus due to COVID we are finally bringing back our Holiday Care Packages for the Homeless event this year. Please mark your calendars for November 17, 2022 from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm at U.C. Hastings in San Francisco (200 McAllister Street, San Francisco - the Atrium/Dining Commons, Second Floor). We are doing it a little earlier than usual this year to avoid the packed holiday season (and the potentially higher COVID numbers that comes with it). Please come join us (and bring family and friends!) as we assemble and distribute approximately 300 holiday care packages for the homeless in the SF Tenderloin area, including necessities such as socks, hats, gloves, hygiene products, sleeping bags, etc. Pizza, drinks and dessert will be provided to all of our volunteers.
Also, please consider making a donation either on our website (www.abcoutreach.org, click the donate tab on the homepage) or by mailing a check made out to Attorneys Bettering the Community, c/o Laura Mazza, 951 Mariners Island Blvd., Ste. 300, San Mateo, CA 94404. All donations are tax deductible and go to a great cause!! 100% of your donation will directly benefit the homeless population in SF, as we have no administrative costs.
